The tin glazed earthenware jar with ovoid body decorated in black, in the late 17th century “Famille Noir“ tradition, with flowering prunus
branches in white and yellow using the short - lived Black Scratch techniqu., which is far less common. The flat cover decorated en suite.
Signed on the bottom in underglaze black for:
