Rare Vintage “Pijnacker” Delft Doré Delft Hand Painted Beaker Vase - 1971

The tin glazed earthenware beaker vase decorated in red, blue and gold, in the “Adriaan van Pijnacker” Delft Doré tradition, with flowering peonies on rockwork.
Signed on the back in underglaze blue and red for:

In the second part of the 17th century, Dutch traders brought Japanese porcelain to Holland, some of which was decorated in colours. Called Kakiemon and Imari. It used red, blue and gold and was copied by a few of the Dutch Delft facories at the beginning of the 18th century. The most famous was Adriaan Pijnacker. Rick Erickson Royal Delft page 215.
