Dutch Blue, White & Orange Royal Delft Commemorative Plate. 
Birth Princess Irene 1939

The tin glazed earthenware plate commemorating the birth of Princess Irene, the second daughter of the Crown Princess Juliana and Prince Bernhard. Decorated in shades of blue with in the center a crowned floral wreath with an orange-coloured banderol on the bottom with the text:

Prinses Irene 5 Augs 1939.  Surrounded with the text:
Sterk door de Trouw van Oranje
Blijft Nederland trouw aan Oranje,
The rim decorated with leaves.
