Dutch Blue & White Royal Delft Commemorative Plate Princess Juliana 18th Birthday 1909 - 1927

The center of the tin glazed earthenware plate decorated in shades of blue with  the Tree of Orange and tulips within the fence and the text:

 NAAR OUD ‘ ORANJETRANT.   30 April   Prinses Juliana 1909 - 1927.  (After old Orange manner N.B. Orange = The Royal Family. The18th birthday of the crown princes.s  Juliana, he later Queen 1948-1980.) The border with the apples of Ora?nge ?and the text:

’t Geloof haar Kracht  - Met Neerlands Volk Vereend. ‘Lands Welzijn Levensdoel. (Believe in her strength - with Dutch people united  - The country’s well-being her object of life.)

Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:

Painter's initials: VP = Petrus Franciscus Vreeswijk.
