Antique Dutch Blue & White Royal Delft Commemorative Plate - Alkmaar Victorie 1573 - 1923.

The tin glazed earthenware plate decorated in shades of blue with the church tower of Alkmaar with the red-white-blue coloured Dutch flag on the  top and:

BIJ AKMAAR BEGINT DE VICTORIE.
- 8 – OCT. 1573 - 1923  (Victory begins at Alkmaar.)
350 years celebration of independence from Spain.
Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:
