The monumental tin glazed pottery (plateel) mantel clock with porcelain dial. The round body painted in multi colours in lush Art Nouveau manner, supported by four feet. Based marked Zuid-Holland, artist initials TV (likely from an original design by Johannes Hendricus Hartgring), incised 74 P (for 1894) and two vases decorated with flowering branches.
