Zeldzame De Porceleyne Fles Groen Delfts Delvert Dekselvaas / Pul - 1968

The rare hexagonal ovoid shaped tin glazed earthenware jar decorated in shades of soft green with stylized floral and geometric motifs. The domed cover with lion finial decorated en suite. Finished with a matt milky glaze.
Signed on the bottom in underglaze green for:

DELVERT:
Herman Sanders designed the DELVERT collection with floral and geometric motifs. The models are the same as those used for blue Delftware. Delvert was produced between 1968 & 1994. In the earlier period a large number of models  were produced, though in much smaller quantities than the usual blue. Latterly  fewer models were produced and only 17 models appear in the 1991 price listbut having technical production problems the production stops in 1994
