The earthenware plate decorated in the 18th century tradition  in sepia as Encre de Chine with a Dutch Brown sailing vessel, a so called Poon, a 16th / 17th century name for a small freighter with a flat bottom from the South Netherlands.The rim with stylized ornaments and written n Poon.

Signed on the back in underglaze sepia for:
