The tin glazed earthenware plate decorated in shades of blue in the center with an interior scene of a living room with an old, beamed ceiling. A lantern is hanging, the big pot with food is hanging above the fire and in the corner the Christmas tree with burning candles with the second Christmas during the German occupation in the second world war.
In the bottom the text Kerstmis 1941 (Christmas.)
The rim with stylized flowers and pine green.

This is his last Christmas plate in the war time and after the war they started with the Christmas cloisonné tiles. This next Royal Delf Christmas plate is in 1955.
Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:
