The center of the tin glazed earthenware plate decorated in shades of blue  with a Dutch brown sailing vessel sailing out next to the light house in the stormy water of the sea & the date 1934In the rim the text: AL BLIJVEN WIND EN ZEE ON STEGEN  -  VOLHARDING BRENGT ONS TOCH DE ZEGE* ( Wind and weather notwithstanding, perseverance will make us victorious.)
