The tin glazed earthenware armorial plate commemorating the 100th anniversary of the independence of the Netherlands after Napoleon Bonaparte. Decorated in blue, green and orange colours with the Crowned coat of arms of the Netherlands with the Dutch Lion with the sword in his right hand and in his left hand a bundle of arrows for the 11 States of the Netherlands, 1813 – 1913 and surrounded by a laurel wreath with the Apples of Orange and:
JE MAINTIENDRAI. (Ik zal hand haven / I will survive.)
Marked on the back in underglaze green with:
ec COPENHAGEN DANMARK – 740 / 798
and impressed ALUMINIA  - 3F
