The tin glazed  earthenware plate decorated in shades of blue with the standing Dutch Lion in the fence and the text: BLIJFT  WAAKZAAM (Remain alert.)  & under the date 1916. The rim with the patriotic Apples of Orange. (=Dutch Royal Family.)
