The tin glazed earthenware plate decorated in shades of blue with the Martini church tower of the city Groningen. Surrounded with the text from Vondel:

ommemorating 250 years ago the ending of the siege of the city in 1672 by the German bishop of Münster Bernhard von Galen after a month. His nickname was Bommen Berend for the use of many canons to shoot  / bomb on the city. The rim with leaves.
