Wandschotel met de Meesterschilder van De Porceleyne Fles Cornelis Tulk naar Offermans - 1963

The tin glazed earthenware charger decorated in shades of blue with the old sitting Royal Delft earthenware decorator on a table working on a (damaged) Delft jar. Cornelis Tulk (1803 - 1893, started working for Royal Delft with 11 years, till 84. Later after his retirement together with Leon Senf, the first two master painters  working for J. Thooft of De Porceleyne fles in the late 1870’s till 1887.

The rim decorated with floral motifs.
Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:
