The case of typical form, the top with  figural finials. Burr-walnut veneered on oak base. The hood centred by a foliate clasp, The case with chamfered sides. The trunkdoor with lenticle.The brass dial with engraved border , silvered arch above ships. Silvered Roman chapter ring signet. 

Signed with : GERRIT BRAMER.  Located on the Rokin in Amsterdam near the Vijgendam 1684 – 1770.  Married 1712. 

Matted centre with with subsidiary second ring with with date aperture alarm setting disc, day of week sector, ringed winding holes, pierced blue steel hands. Eight day four pilaar movement with anchor escapement. Dutch stike and alarm on two bells, Pendulum, four weights. Moonphases, calenderwork , Seasonal spandrels.
