The garniture containing an octagonal tin glazed earthenware lidded jar decorated in colours on a black base with flowering plants and a bird of paradise. The domed lid with black, light blue and a green finial. and two octagonal beaker vases with flowering plants and a flying insect.
For the 325th Jubilee of Royal Delft in 1978 The black Delft was new introduced. It was based on the “Famille Noir” that was already made in Delft in the late 17th century. A black base decorated with several colours the so called: The wondrous Black of Delft.  All items signed on the bottom in underglaze black for:

Painter’s initials: FKA  =  Mrs J.F. Kastelein
Employment dates:1971 – circa 1979.
