This Nieuw - Delft tin glazed earthenwarepolychrome plate commemorating the 300th anniversary of the V.O.C. founding Batavia (Jakarta) decorated in colours with in the center a Dutch VOC trade sailing vessel with the coat of arms of Batavia and Holland and the text:
V.O.C. 1619. Mei 1919
(Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie = Far East Trade Company establshed 1602.) The rim with stylized ornamants and in green the text:

Signed on the back in underglaze blue with factory mark 6 with a bottle & DELFT.
