The square maiolica cloisonné tile decorated in colours with a “cog” a medieval sailing vessel used for trade on the East-Sea and with two Amsterdam flags, a Knight with on his shield the coat of Arms of Henegouwen, a second person and dog looking over the railing, as found in Old Wax seals of the city Amsterdam. In the bottom in a banderol ANNO AMSTERDAM 1275. The tile was issued in 1925 on the 650th anniversary of Amsterdam.
