Januari 31th 1661   Van der Schilde & Pothuysen started de “ pannenbakkerij ” in  Utrecht on the “ Vaartse Rhine “ for the production of roof tiles. Later they also produce wall tiles & interior items. After 1945 they are bought by De Porceleyne Fles.(Royal Delft) and in 1994 the factory moves to Delft, part of Royal Delft and than only production with transfer technique.
