Set of Two Antique Dutch Blue & White Royal Delft Breakfast Plates - 1893. SOLD


The tin glazed earthenware Breakfast Plates decorated in shades of blue with in the centre a Dutch brown sailng vessel in a Dutch landscape with a windmill. The pendant with a windmill (Bovenkruier) in a Dutch landscape. The rims decorated with stylized  floral motifs. 

Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:

DE PORCELEYNE FLES - ROYAL DELFT

DELFT - HOLLAND  &  O  = 1893

Two painters worked on both plates.

Painter’s initials: CK = Georg Conrad Kunz

Employment dates :  Sept. 7th 1891 - 1940 

AG  = Andreas Petrus Guerrain. 1887 - 1938

Impressed  mark: Joost Thooft & La Bouchere in a circle.
