Rare Antique Dutch Blue & White Royal Delft Wall Charger. After Otto Eerelman - 1890

The hand painted tin glazed earthenware charger decorated in shades of blue in the centre with a couple on a carriage (Friese Sjees) pulled by a white horse. Under right: naar O. Eerelman.  After a painting by Otto Eerelman (Groningen 1839 - 1926). The rim with stylized flowers and leaves.

Signed on the bottom in underglaze blue for:

DELFT - HOLLAND &  L = 1890

Painter’s initials:  HB  =  Hendrik Christian Bottelier

Employment dates : 1880 - Feb. 5th 1924.

Impressed  mark: Joost Thooft & La Bouchere in a circle
