Dutch Royal Makkum Hand Painted Blue and White Delft Maritime Plaque.

A tin glazed earthenware Friysian Delftware blue and white handpainted maritime plaque. The shaped body, within a raised border with marbled on the inside and a dark blue rim, painted in shades of blue with Dutch brown sailing vessels and “Dutch Eastindian Trade" sailing vessels. Signed on the back in underglaze blue with:
ROYAL  MAKKUM - Tichelaar
