Dutch Blue & White Wall Charger with the Royal Delft Master Painter Cornelis Tulk after Offermans - 1963

The tin glazed earthenware charger decorated in shades of blue with the old sitting Royal Delft earthenware decorator on a table working on a (damaged) Delft jar.  Cornelis Tulk (1803 - 1893, started working for Royal Delft with 11 years, till 84. Later after his retirement together with Leon Senf, the first two master painters  working for J. Thooft of De Porceleyne fles in the late 1870’s till 1887.
Under right:  Naar Offermans.   A.L.G. (Tony) Offermans, Den Haag 8 November 1854 - Laren 23 Augustus 1911.
The rim decorated with floral motifs.
Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:
DE  PORCELEYNE  FLES  -  ROYAL  DELFT
DELFT  - HOLLAND  & CH  =  1963
