The tin glazed earthenware plate decorated in shades of blue with a Dutch brown sailing vessel. The rim decorated with symmetric motifs.
Signed on the bottom in underglaze blue for:

Painter’s initials: VB  = Willem Alexander Karel Hendrik Frederik van Baarsel.
