The tin glazed earthenware plate made for the 9th Olympic Games in Amsterdam 1928. The center decorated in shades of blue with the crowned tower of the Wester Church & 1928 with the banners of the Olympic games and the Netherlands. The rim with rotating stylized flowering leaves and the slogan:
ALTIUS CITIUS FORTUS IX e OLYMPIADE
The plate is designed by Leon Senf.
Only 500 plates were produced.
Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:
