Laat los de Gulden!   Houdt hem vast! (Release the Guilder / Hold the Guilder).
Door d’allerknapsten wordt ’t vraagstuk bekeken,
Het hardste schreeuwen   Intussen de Leeken.

The second  tin glazed earthenware plate commemorating that the Dutch guilder was detached from the gold'(standard) .The coin 1 G (Gulden) surrounded
with a laurel wreath and the text:
De gulden los van het goud.  -  Al heft ook de Gulden in eervollen strijd zijn gaafheid niet kunnen bewaren,  -   Zijn kracht is nog groot , en eendrachtig beleid -  Zal Neerland er wel bij doen varen.  -  Sept. 1936.  (The guilder apart from the gold – even the Guider has in the honorable fight  his coolness not kept –  his strength is still great, and unified policy –  shall The Netherlands do well.). Surrounded on the rim with stylized floral swags.
