The tin glazed earthenware plate commemorating the 1968 Apollo 8 mission with the first men around the moon. The center decorated in shades of blue with  the moon and the earth, several holly leaves and the names; Borman, Lovell & Anders and the text: FIRST  MEN  AROUND  THE  MOON. The rim with stylized leaves and the dates 21.12  - 1968 -  27.12  
Designed by De Bruijn. 
Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:
