Rare Large Dutch Blue & White Royal Delft Hand Painted Farming Plate. Volhard tot het Einde. - 1931

The center of the tin glazed earthenware plate decorated in blue with a man and a woman treshing grain in the barn. In the rim with stylized motifs and flowers the text:
VOLHARD TOT HET EINDE. *  1931 *
(Work hard until the end.)

Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:
DE PORCELEYNE FLES - ROYAL DELFT
DELFT - HOLLAND  &  AZ = 1930
Painter’s initials: AK = Adrianus Koert.
Employment dates: 1888-1914 & 1926-1947
