The unique tin glazed earthenware charger decorated in shades of blue with a Dutch brown sailing vessel in the Rotterdam harbour in a roundel. Surrounded with the text:

Maatschappij voor Scheeps- en Werktuigbouw, “FIJENOORD” voorheen Nederlandsche Stoombootmaatschappij.
The rim decorated with stylized leaves and fruit and in the top: 1823 - 1923 10 NOVEMBER
Signed on the bottom in underglaze blue for:
DE PORCELEYNE FLES - ROYAL DELFT 
DELFT - HOLLAND  &  AS = 1923
Two painters worked on this painting on clay:
Painter: VP = Petrus Franciscus Vreeswijk
Employment dates: 19 Oct. 1885 - 1934.
In the painting:  VP naar Aug. W. van Voorden
