The tin glazed earthenware “Professional” plate decorated in shades of blue with a man and a sitting doctor in a room & naar Jan Luiken surrounded by the text:
De Dokter De zieken die voor mij verschijnen, Geneeze ik door de medesijnen. (The Doctor The sick persons who come into my sight, I cure with medicines.) and a rim with stylized flowers. After an engraving by Jan & Kasper Luyken from: Spiegel van ’t menschelijk bedryf. Honderd verscheiden Ambachten - Amsterdam Anno 1767.
Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:
