The large rectangular Delft memorial majolica cloisonné tile decorated in colours with a Dutch Brown Sailing vessel in turbulent waves with the coat of arms in the sail and
JE  MAINTIENDRAI.  (Ik zal hand haven / I will survive.) In the top of the mast banner with the colours of the Dutch flag. In the top a banderol with:
WILHELMINA KONINGIN. (Queen.) 1898 – 1948.   50 Years anniversary as Queen and in September 1948 is the abdication of Queen Wilhelmina. Further the symbols for:
A pelican pierces her breast with her beak, reviving her children below with  her blood, the symbol for Caritas.
A Sword and balance for Justice

A Paint Palette and a wooden hammer for a tone cutter
The cross with the Holy Bible
Marked on the back with the impressed factory mark for:
DE PORCELEYNE FLES - ROYAL DELFT
DELFT – HOLLAND  -  ANNO 1948
