The large tin glazed earthenware plate decorated in shades of blue in the center with an interior with the Christmas tree with small burning candles standing on a tiled floor. On top of the Christmas tree the shining Christmas Star. The is year the door is closed, because outside is the occupation by the Germans in the first Dutch Second World war year in the Netherlands
Under in the rim KERSTMIS 1940 (Christmas.) between a decoration of only pine branches.
