Large Dutch Blue & White Royal Delft Christmas Plate - KERSTMIS 1955.

The tin glazed earthenware plate decorated in shades of blue in the center with a gateway in the winter. The clock on 11:00 PM. On the left a Christmas tree pointing to a bright star. In the bottom the text Kerstmis 1955 (Christmas.) The rim with stylized holly and stars. This is the first Christmas plate after the second World War and the end of the Christmas cloisonné tile.
