The tin glazed earthenware plate decorated in shades of blue in the centre with the Christmas Star decorated with holly leaves and berries and the text: KERSTMIS 1918  & in the top VREDE  - OP -  AARDE. (Peace on Earth, N.B.  the Great war just ended nov.11th 1918.) The rim with stylized motifs
