Dutch Orange, Blue & White Royal Delft Liberation War Plate . The Netherlands will Revive - 1945

The tin glazed earthenware plate decorated in shades of blue with five flying pigeons holding a ring of flowers around three orange-coloured oranges. (Apples of Orange = The House of Orange, The Royal family) Surrounded with the text:
NEDERLAND ZAL HERRIJZEN. 5 MEI 1945. (The Netherlands will revive. End of World War II.)

Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:
