The tin glazed earthenware plate commemorating the Golden Jubilee / 50th anniversary of Emma of Waldeck and Pyrmont as Queen (Mother) of the Netherlands and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg and later regent of her daughter Wilhelmina, during the latter’s minority from 1890 - 1918. Decorated in shades of blue within the center a crowned decoration with stylized flowers and the text: 

1879 EMMA 1929 MOEDER DES VADERLANDS ( Mother of the Fatherland.) surrounded with rotating stylized flowers.
The rim with the text: 
Ons land zij groot in alles waarin ook een klein volk groot kan zijn.
Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:
DE PORCELEYNE FLES - ROYAL DELFT
DELFT  -  HOLLAND  & AY = 1929
