The center of the tin glazed earthenware plate decorated in blue with a man and a woman threshing grain in the barn. In the rim with stylized motifs and the text:
* VOLHARD TOT HET EINDE * & under *1931* (Work hard until the end.)
Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:
DE PORCELEYNE FLES  -  ROYAL DELFT
DELFT - HOLLAND  &  BA = 1931

Two painters worked on this plate:
Painter’s initials: VL Johannes (Jan) van Lijnschooten
Employment dates: 16 Sept 1889 - 1935
Painter’s initials: AG =  Andreas Petrus Guerrain
Employment dates:: June 6th, 1887 - 1938
