Dutch Blue & White Royal Delft Farming Plate - Plowing The Field 1927

The center of the tin glazed earthenware farming plate decorated in blue with a man plowing the field with two horses. In the rim with stylized motifs and the text:
*IN DEN AANVANG IS DE DAAD.* & under *1927 * (In the beginning is the deed.)
Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:
DE PORCELEYNE FLES  -  ROYAL DELFT
DELFT - HOLLAND  &  AW = 1927

Two painters worked on this plate:
Painter’s initials: VP  = Petrus Franciscus Vreeswijk

Employment dates: 1885 - 1934     
Painter’s initials: AG = Andreas Petrus Guerrain
Employment dates: June 6th, 1887 - 1938
