The tin glazed earthenware plate decorated in shades of blue with in the centre the view of the Euromast in Rotterdam. It belongs to a series that was commissioned by the Rotterdamse Verzekerings Sociëtet ( R.V.S. or Rotterdams Insurance Association ) in the period 1919 - 1967. Intended as a gift to its employees and business contacts. Surrounded by a decorative border of stylized flowers and foliage. and in the top R.V.S. & 1963 on the bottom.
