The tin glazed earthenware plate commemorating the birth of the Crown Princess Juliana, The later Queen.  The center decorated in shades of blue with the flowering Tree of Orange and the Dutch Lion holding a flag with “ORANJE BOVEN” (Orange Above.) within the fence above JULIANA. (N.B.  Orange = The Royal Family)

Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:

Painter's initials: VK =  Antonius Johannes van Kampenhout.
Employment dates: 1892 - 1942
