Antique Dutch Polychrome Plazuid Delft Commemorative Plate Birth Crown Princess Juliana - 1909

The rimmed tin glazed earthenware plate commemorating the birth of the crown-princess Juliana on April 30th 1909. Decorated in multi colours with a flowerpot with the Tree with the apples of Orange and written:
De Oranjeboom bloeit voort and 30 April 1909
(The Orange Tree continues to bloom.)
The rim with floating Apples of Orange
Signed on the back in underglaze black with:
PLATEELBAKKERIJ  - “ZUID-HOLLAND”
and the Lazarus Poortje / Gate
