Antique Dutch Orange, Blue & White Royal Delft Great War Plate. PAX VERSAILLES - 1920. SOLD


The tin glazed earthenware plate decorated in blue with a standing sword and sun with PAX. (Peace.) On the sword a banderol with the text: JAN. VERSAILLES 1920. Peace treaty after the great war in january 1920. The rim with the orange coloured patriotic Apples of Orange.(= Dutch Royal Family.)

Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:
