The tin glazed earthenware plate decorated in shades of blue with a Dutch brown sailing vessel in windy water on sea. Houdt moedig zee(Keep brave sea.) The rim with the orange patriotic Apples of Orange. (= Dutch Royal Family.)

Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:
