Antique Dutch Blue, Orange & White Delft Great War Plate. The Fatherland Faithfull - 1918.

The tin glazed earthenware plate decorated in shades of blue with a trade vessel leaving the harbour.  With the text "DEN VADERLANT GHETROUWE” (The Fatherland Faithfull).  Under in the center 1918. The rim with the orange coloured Apples of Orange. (= Royal Family). The rarest plate from the WW1 serie.

Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:
