The tin glazed earthenware plate decorated in shades of blue with a trade vessel leaving the harbour. With the text "DEN VADERLANT GHETROUWE” (The Fatherland Faithfull). Under in the center 1918. The rim with the orange coloured Apples of Orange. (= Royal Family). The rarest plate from the WW1 serie.
Designed by Leon Senf. 
Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:

DELFT - HOLLAND -  ANNO   1918
Painter’s initials: VHD  =  J.B.J. van de Horst
Employment dates: 1883 - March 15th 1918
