The tin glazed  earthenware plate decorated in shades of blue with the standing Dutch Lion within the fence and the text: BLIJFT  WAAKZAAM(Remain Alert.) & under the date 1916. The rim with the patriotic Apples of Orange. (=Dutch Royal Family.)

Painter’s initials CK = Georg Coenrad Kunz
