Antique Dutch Blue & White Royal Delft Great War Plate. FRIENDS IN NEED - 1918.

The tin glazed earthenware plate decorated in shades of blue with a a kitchen interior with a boiling pan in a fireplace. With the text: VRIENDEN IN NOOD. (Friends in need.) The top of the fireplace dated Ao 1918. The rim with the  patriotic Apples of Orange. (= Dutch Royal Family.)

Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:
