Antique Dutch Blue & White Royal Delft Crisis Plate. De Zaaier - 1925.

The center of the tin glazed earthenware plate decorated in blue with a man sowing the fields. The rim with stylized motifs and the text:

HOUD GOEDEN MOED.  1925  (Keep good heart.)

Only 460  plates were produced.

Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:

DE PORCELEYNE FLES - ROYAL DELFT 

DELFT - HOLLAND  &  AU = 1925

Two painters worked on this plate:
Painter: VH = Gijsbertus van Heijenoort.
Employment dates: 1891 – 1940   and

Painter: AG = Andreas Petrus Guerrain.
Employment dates: June 6th 1887 - 1938
