The tin glazed earthenware plate decorated in shades of blue with in the center  
the portrait of King Willem I surrounded with two standing lions.
The crown in the top above flowers. The rim with stylized ornaments and the year 1813. The centenary of the Liberation from the French during Napoleon Bonaparte. Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the independence of the Netherlands.
Designed by Le Comte.
Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:
DE PORCELEYNE FLES - ROYAL DELFT
DELFT - HOLLAND  &   1913    
Painter:  VB = Willem van Baarsel.
Employment dates: 1893 - 1944 or 1945.
