Antique Blue & White Royal Delft Great War Plate. PAX VERSAILLES - JAN 1920

The tin glazed earthenware plate decorated in shades of blue with a standing sword and sun with PAX (Peace.) On the sword a banderol with the text: JAN. VERSAILLES 1920  (= January.) Peace treaty after the great war in january 1920. The rim with the Patriotic Apples of Orange. (= Dutch Royal Family.)

Designed by Leon Senf. 

Signed on the back in underglaze blue for:
