Antique German Pewter Coffee Urn. Elberfeld - Johan Arrenberg. SOLD


The German pewter two-handled pear-shaped coffee urn, a so called “Droppelmina” with two scroll handles on three scroll feet on wooden finials. The shaped domed cover with wooden finial. The pewter scroll spout with a brass and pewter floral cast tap with wood inlay. Marked on the bottom with: FIN BLOK ZIN, an angel with a balance and I A B. for Johann Arrenberg – Elberfeld, in Das Bergisches Land, north-east from Cologne. Working since 1815. As in the Netherlands they worked with imported Fine Block Pewter, from the U.K. the best quality pewter.
